Description
We visited Mount Battie in Camden, Maine, USA, in mid-October to view the colorful foliage at peak season. We drove up the mountainside to the peak, where we climbed a lookout tower to view the state park and the ocean and coastline that stretched for miles beyond the park. It was at Golden Hour so the light and shadows were perfect, as were the vibrant sky and wispy clouds and vapor trails. The foliage had a soft glow that brightened the colors on the leaves to vibrant shades of red, yellow and orange. The awe-inspiring beauty was overwhelming.
